Default Testimony - Michael J. Loomis

This is a more abbreviated version of my testimony over the last 5 years or so. If you would like a more extensive and further reaching back version...That can be found here---> http://whathappenedin70ad.blogspot.com

Anyhow...I come from a Calvary Chapel background. Until about a year ago I worked for Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa and Chuck Smith was my boss. I worked there for 5 years in their radio ministry...attended and graduated from their School of Ministry in 2005. And as far as I know I am the only full preterist to have ever graduated from the Calvary Chapel School of Ministry. It's kind of odd being an FP and having a diploma on my wall personally signed by Chuck Smith. Anyhow...I came to an understanding of fulfilled prophecy 3/4 of the way through my schooling and was smart enough to keep my mouth closed long enough to graduate. Not that it really matters now because they wouldn't ordain me with a 10 foot pole. 8) And that is ok...I'm over it.

A little over a year ago I quit working for Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa for a couple of reasons. But the main reason was that my conscience had finally taken a beating knowing that the work that I was doing was promoting a lie. And so I went back to my old forte of turning wrenches and screwdrivers as an electrician. 8 months later I found myself on disability with a torn bicep...Not completely, but multiple what they call micro-tears. That and lateral epicondylitis(Tennis Elbow) because of my overcompensating for the pain in my bicep.

And so I've been on disability for about 4 1/2 months now and it has made me realize that I may have to reconsider my path in life. Recently the doctor told me that I probably won't be able to go back to turning wrenches and screwdrivers like I used to without re-injuring myself again. Something about getting older and things wearing out. 8)

And so in redeeming this time that I've been on disability I have taken the time to teach myself some web design and started making some websites in hope that I can help increase the visibility and presence of a fulfilled view of prophecy on the internet. As well I am in the planning stages of starting a ministerial association that will cater to the needs of people that hold to a view of fulfilled prophecy. For those that have found themselves unable to seek ordination without having to sign something that says that they hold to a future coming of Christ. That plan can be found here.

Any feedback would be great.

Some of the websites I've been working on are:

http://70ad.net
http://preteristchurch.com
http://preteristforum.com
http://70adforum.com
http://70adwiki.com
http://michaeljloomis.com

And many more to come. 8)

The wiki is my favorite. It is easy to maintain and update and will be a continual work that will be a source of articles and audio for many years to come. Feel free to download as much as you like...I have plenty of bandwidth. Oh...And I am hoping that all of this will be a big thorn in the side of those that are trying to defeat our message of a fulfilled view. 8)
